Sulawesi is the world’s 11th largest island and looks like a monster letter K sprawling in the centre of the Indonesian archipelago. On this amazing liveaboard adventure, our explorations are largely focused around the Togean islands, situated off Central Sulawesi in the Gulf of Tomini. The 56 islands that make up the Togean archipelago are a nature lover’s nirvana, encompassing unspoilt beaches, turquoise waters and vibrant reefs. We explore this water-wonderland by kayak, snorkel and scuba diving, discovering daily the delights of this tropical island paradise.
While in the Togean Islands there are opportunities to snorkel with stingless jellyfish in a fresh water lake, hike to the the volcano on Una Una, spy the colourful bird life as we trek along verdant jungle trails and kayak coastlines where, perhaps, only the locals have paddled before us.
With remote locations inaccessible by land, a liveaboard allows for far-reaching exploration, creating an unforgettable sense of discovery and adventure. After each day’s explorations we return to the boat for delicious meals, very comfortable cabins and well-earned relaxation.
- Kayaking, snorkelling, and diving among the untouched reefs of the Togean Islands
- Rare experiences including Jellyfish Lake, volcanic Una Una, and rich birdlife
- Intimate liveaboard exploration of remote islands inaccessible by land
