A typical Croatian cruise that includes the best of Croatia's stunning coastline, starting and finishing in Split, and spending time at the iconic sites of Dubrovnik, Hvar, Mljet and Korcula. Our luxurious small cruise vessel is custom made specifically for sailing between the small ports on this coastline, most of which don't allow any larger vessels to enter. We will stop for a swim everyday and on most evenings we are free to explore the restaurants and cafes of the towns where we spend our evenings.

Day 1. Split

You will be transferred from Split’s airport or your Split hotel to Split Harbour, where embarkation begins at noon. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome Reception this evening.

Day 2. Split, Bol, Stari-Grad.

Stop in Bol, a small town on Island Brač, with optional swim at the Golden Horn if weather permits, enjoy the 530 m long golden pebble beach said to be the best in Croatia. It is unique since it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Return to the boat for lunch and then head to Hvar island, the city of Stari Grad one of the oldest cities in Europe. Your evening is free to explore Stari Grad on your own

Day 3. Stari-Grad, Hvar, Korcula.

Morning departure towards Hvar, the most popular island in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet set. A sightseeing tour of this charming town, with 8 centuries of architecture, will show you the picturesque little streets and the first public theatre in Europe (older than Shakespeare’s theatre in the UK). Afterwards we set sail for Korčula, with swimming stop in one of pristine bays and lunch onboard. Early afternoon arrival to Korčula, thought to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Take a walking tour through this fortified town which is one of the best preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. Your evening is free to discover the town and enjoy dinner on your own at one of the many good restaurants

Day 4. Korcula, Dubrovnik.

In the morning sail to Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of the Adriatic”, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival in Dubrovnik, you will enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Old Town with a panoramic bus ride above the Old Town. You will see the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s second oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. You will have free time during rest of the day to explore the Old town, to take the Cable car to Srđ Mountain or a boat ride to Lokrum island. Overnight in Dubrovnik. 

Day 5. Dubrovnik to Mljet

Today we turn our compass back north towards Mljet Island, with plenty of time for morning swim along the sail. Upon arrival join the Cruise Manager for a visit to the famous salt lakes in the National Park and enjoy the boat ride to St. Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a Church dating back to the 12th Century. Mljet National Park encompasses five types of forest, many species of birds, and two deep lakes, Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). Your evening is free in Mljet.

Day 6. Mljet, Pucisca

Take a break for a swim during your morning cruise. Continue sailing through lunch, arriving this afternoon in Pučišća, a beautiful little town on island of Brač. Pučišća, village of the stone sculpture, where you can visit amazing stonemason school (optional), features a spectacular steep-sided natural harbour and authentic Mediterranean architecture. Tonight enjoy Captain’s dinner onboard.

Day 7. Pucisca, Omis, Split

Next we head to our final port Omiš with its fortresses which are silent stone reminders of the power of the pirates who once made their homes and fortunes here. You will have a possibility to book a short walking tour, followed by boarding a small boat and sail into Cetina River Canyon, a protected nature area, continuing to Radman Mills for a local specialty snack (optional). After visiting Omiš set sail to Split with a stop along the way to swim, cool off and relax, if weather permits, with lunch onboard. In the late afternoon we arrive in Split to take a guided tour of the historical center of city which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your evening is free in Split.

Day 8. Split

After breakfast it’s time to disembark. You will be transferred to the airport or your Split hotel.

The wonderful M/S Desire, launched in 2017, is a state-of-the-art vessel with the latest equipment and amenities. Maximum capacity is 38 passengers in 19 twin, double and triple cabins, guaranteeing an intimate setting for all guests. At 48 metres long she is one of the roomier vessels to be found along this coastline.

All cabins have are fully equipped with A/C, LCD TV, safe deposit box, fire alarm, internal communication system between room and bar. Bathrooms are equipped with toilet, shower, wash basin, hair dryer, slippers, bathrobe, and for added convenience cosmetic package. All cabins are sound-proof and each cabin comes with the fire-proof doors.

A fully air-conditioned upper deck dining room can accommodate all passengers at once, yet offer a great degree of privacy for each guest. The restaurant is equipped with a bar and LCD TV, and each table has easy-access chairs.

There is also a corner table for buffet breakfast, armchair and small coffee table in the bar, as well as free wireless internet (Wi-Fi), loudspeakers, audio-system, and a direct telephone communication cabin-bar. The kitchen is made in line with the latest HACCP standards. An extension of the restaurant is outdoors, on the covered part of the upper deck, spacious enough for all passengers and tables, chairs and including one public lavatory. Electricity on board: 220V.

From Venice to Opatija, Plitvice Lakes to Split 2025

WEDNESDAY: ARRIVAL VENICE Pick up at Tronchetto bus station or at the Venice airports (Marco Polo or Treviso). Transfer to Opatija on the Croatian riviera. Overnight in Opatija. THURSDAY: OPATIJA WALKING TOUR (B) Guided tour of Opatija, a coastal town situated on the picturesque Kvarner Bay and a cradle of Croatian tourism. It used to be the favourite spa resort of the Habsburgs and the European aristocracy as well as the 19th century elite Gustav Mahler and Isadora Duncan. Walking through the colourful Angiolina park and along the Lungomare sea promenade surrounded by charming Austro-Hungarian villas and residences you can still feel the unique glamour of Opatija. Overnight in Opatija. FRIDAY: OPATIJA – PLITVICE LAKES – SPLIT (B) Morning departure towards the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. The oldest Croatian national park consists of 16 lakes connected by cascading waterfalls. Enjoy a 3 to 4 hours walking tour strolling the wooden paths and nature trails surrounded by lush greenery and turquoise waters (minimum fitness level required). Continue to Split hotel for overnight. SATURDAY: SPLIT (B) Guided tour of Split, the biggest city in Dalmatia with rich cultural heritage and historical values dating from the Roman times. At the core of this sprawling cityscape is the palace the emperor Diocletian built for his golden years at the turn of the 4th century. To this day the Palace remains one of the best-preserved monuments of the Roman architecture in the world. After the walking tour continue to your cruise.
