Highlights

St. Augustine: Spend the afternoon exploring historic ruins, unique architecture, and the narrowed streets of a city once used as a remote outpost by the Spanish Empire.
Charleston: The scene of major Revolutionary War naval battles, legendary pirate tales, and Civil War sieges, Charleston is brimming with history and culture. Docking in the heart of this living museum along the banks of the tranquil Ashley River, you will have the opportunity to truly appreciate Southern Antebellum culture.
Marthas Vineyard: The island of Marthas Vineyard is unique in its history and very sustainable lifestyle. The island has 6 towns. Although getting to the island without a cruise ship can be a project, the Pearl Mist takes you right to the Marthas Vineyard docks. With stately Greek revival houses dating back to the whaling era of the early 19th century, Edgartown is a seaside village of boutique shopping and pristine harbor views. For more of a beach town feel, Oak Bluffs has the Flying Horses carousel, an arcade and an easy walk to the beach, plus the history and charm of the gingerbread houses in the Methodist campgrounds. Vineyard Haven offers visitors a blend of both. For a real retreat, Chilmark/Aquinnah is the place to get away from it all.
Halifax: Nova Scotia's capital is a historic community that still shows a striking resemblance to the Halifax of the 1800s when it was a key naval station in the British Empire. The crown jewel of the town is restored and active Halifax Citadel, a military bastion that has been standing for over 250 years.

Day 1 - South Florida
The Pearl Mist will depart into the beautiful coastal breezes of South Florida. Built primarily during the 19th-century, the subtropical Florida climate has been attracting visitors for years. Cruise past vibrant resort cities down the Florida Gold Coast as your 10-night journey begins.
Day 2 - St. Augustine, FL
In the late 1800s, oil millionaire Henry Flagler built a number of elegant hotels and churches in St. Augustine in an attempt to fulfill his vision of establishing an American Riviera along Florida's eastern shores. Although this golden era ended in the early 1900s, Flaglers legacy remains, and his buildings grace St. Augustine as both monuments to early American opulence and architectural ingenuity. Spend the afternoon exploring historic ruins, unique architecture, and the narrowed streets of a city once used as a remote outpost by the Spanish Empire.
Day 3 - Charleston, SC
The scene of major Revolutionary War naval battles, legendary pirate tales, and Civil War sieges, Charleston is brimming with history and culture. Docking in the heart of this living museum along the banks of the tranquil Ashley River, you will have the opportunity to truly appreciate Southern Antebellum culture. Visit historic Fort Sumter National Monument; experience the African-American Influences of the area and stroll through magnificent parks, gardens, and plantations. Warm southern breezes, gas-lit lamps and cobblestone streets welcome you to the city where the Civil War began.
Day 4 - Williamsburg, VA
Williamsburg was founded as the capital of the Virginia Colony in 1699. Famous political leaders emerged from the College of William and Mary, (which had been founded in 1693), such as Presidents Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, and John Tyler. The first hospital established in America for the care and treatment of mental illness was founded in Williamsburg in 1773. General George Washington assembled the Continental Army in Williamsburg in 1781 for the siege of nearby Yorktown and the winning of American independence. During a landmark visit in 1934, Franklin D. Roosevelt proclaimed its main thoroughfare, the Duke of Gloucester Street, the most historic avenue in America.
Day 5 - Marthas Vineyard, MA

Known as Americas oldest seaport, explorers and fishermen alike have been visiting Gloucester since 1606.
