This journey traces the Atlantic coast from northern Spain to northern France, linking distinctive maritime regions shaped by food, wine, and seafaring tradition. Departing Bilbao, the route highlights Basque culture in San Sebastián before alternating sailing days with calls in historic ports such as La Rochelle and Quiberon, where coastal gastronomy and regional character define each stop. The voyage continues through the Channel Islands with a visit to Guernsey, marked by rugged cliffs and pastoral landscapes, before concluding in Honfleur, the gateway to Paris and a harbour long associated with artists, traders, and explorers.
