Dahabiya Hadeel
Dahabiyya “Hadeel” which, in Arabic, means the gentle cooing of pigeon. It is also used as a term to express affection, friendship, peace, and harmony with everything and everyone around. Dahabiyya sailboats were a very popular means of Nile travel amongst the wealthy and aristocrats in the good old day’s. In more recent times, Dahabiyyas have experienced a revival in popularity, with the design of sailboats of yesteryear but with all the modern comforts and luxuries of today’s world. A Dahabiyya conjures up memories of a bygone area on the Nile, a river steeped in mystery and romance, and rich in the history of ancient Egypt.
The Hadeel is staffed by an experienced crew of 10 who will ensure your every need is catered for. As passenger numbers are limited to only16, we can offer our guests a much more personalized level of service than that experience on the large Nile boats. All meals are included, and the on board chef is highly skilled at preparing both international and Egyptian cuisine.
