Every voyage into Antarctica is a wildlife lover’s dream journey. And this trip will certainly be no different. Expect to encounter a variety of iconic penguins, any number of different seal species, and Antarctica’s always-majestic icebergs. But this voyage will feature one notable exception to the rule: This time of year, whale spotting is at its entertaining best, with large numbers of giant Humpbacks feeding on the abundance of krill in the water. Orcas and Minkes are also common sightings on this very special voyage into the last truly wild place on Earth.
- Embark on an unforgettable journey to Antarctica from the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia, after a luxurious stay at Arakur Resort & Spa.
- Explore the South Shetland Islands, encountering diverse wildlife including penguins, seals, and whales amidst stunning landscapes sculpted by volcanic activity.
- Conclude your expedition with lasting memories as you disembark in Ushuaia, either to catch a flight to Buenos Aires or to continue your adventures in this captivating region.

Seaventure
| Refurbished | 2021 |
|---|---|
| Length | 112 metres |
| Passenger capacity: | 139 |
| Ice class | 1-A Super Ice Class Small Ship |
A WORLD-CLASS SMALL SHIP EXPERIENCE
Seaventure features a 1-A Super ice class rating — the highest ice class awarded to passenger vessels. This means that we will be able to explore coves, bays, and channels that would previously have been forbidden to us. The ship also offers a host of new activities. There’s a sauna, a fitness center, a custom-built citizen science lab, and heated saltwater pool. There is more storage space, which is important because it means we can carry more equipment, so that more of our guests can participate in activities like kayaking, snowshoeing, and camping.
The common areas are larger and beautifully appointed, and the ship has two.
Antarctica is a uniquely challenging environment, one that Seaventure is supremely prepared for. Its state-of-the-art stabilizing system provides safe, comfortable passage through even rough seas, and its ice rating is second-to-none in these waters. This means Seaventure can usher you into places (and amazing experiences) that regularly turn away lesser and larger ships.
Seaventure features an outer viewing deck that circles the entire ship, and an outdoor dining area and heliport where we host events whenever weather permits. Indoors, our elegant dining areas and spacious presentation room surround you with oversized windows, so you’ll never have to miss a passing iceberg or an impromptu sighting of a Humpback or school of Orcas. Even our treadmills and ellipticals keep your eyes trained on the mesmerizing Antarctic landscape.
