Your adventure begins in the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik, one of Scandinavia’s most hip cities, before striking out to the wilds of East Greenland. Here we will venture up the coast before visiting the fascinating and friendly settlement of Ittoqqortoormiit, before heading into the Northeast Greenland National Park – Earth’s largest protected land area, and a haven for Arctic nature. With vast glaciers, blooming tundra, charismatic Arctic wildlife, and vast mountains rising straight out of the icy sea, this vast wilderness is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular locations anywhere in the Arctic.
From the wilds of the National Park, we will cross the Greenland Sea to explore the breathtaking high Arctic islands of Svalbard, home to a vast diversity of Arctic wildlife, from walrus and reindeer to puffins and polar bears. Marvel at the pioneering history of this archipelago, where scientists work hard to conserve this natural paradise. Our voyage finishes in Longyearbyen, Svalbard’s bustling capital, and the northernmost city on planet Earth.
Join us on board for a voyage combining the very best of the Arctic – one of Earth’s last true wildernesses!
