Day 1 Singapore/Singapore, departure 21.00 hrs
Day 2 Relaxation at sea
Day 3 Pulau Redang/Malaysia, 08.00 – 18.00 hrs

Off the east coast of Malaysia, Pulau Redang in the South China Sea is like an island dream come true. Turquoise-blue water, white beaches and deep green mountains characterise the landscape with a beauty seemingly out of this world. Together with eight smaller neighbouring islands, the island belongs to Pulau Redang National Park, which is known for its almost untouched underwater world rich in species. The extensive beaches, many of which are protected nature reserves, offer numerous favourite spots for relaxation. Those who prefer more active pursuits can set off on a hike into the jungle or dive into the crystal-clear sea: the bright coral reefs are teeming with colourful fish and turtles.

Day 4 Relaxation at sea
Day 5 Kampong Saom (Sihanoukville)/Cambodia, 08.00 – 22.00 hrs

Welcome to Cambodia in the former Kampong Saom, now known as Sihanoukville, in an idyllic location on the peninsula in the Gulf of Thailand. Elegant villas from the French colonial era characterise its flair as does the hustle and bustle of a modern harbour town. Kampong Saom looks back on a long history as a popular seaside resort: along the coastline, there are several dream beaches lined with coconut trees that gently sway in the sea breeze. Relax to your heart’s content and take a refreshing dip in the turquoise sea. Thanks to the long lay time, you can enjoy the beauty of Kampong Saom until midnight.

Day 6 Phu Quoc/Vietnam, 07.00 – 18.00 hrs

If you want to experience the real Vietnam, you will find what you are looking for on Phu Quoc, the country’s largest island. Here, you can enjoy authentic everyday life as well as the exotic beauty of nature. Dream beaches, crystal-clear water and the dense green rainforest invite you to relax and explore. Particularly popular with locals and travellers alike is Long Beach, lined with palm trees and cafes, which offers many favourite spots to relax along its length of around 20 km (12 mi.). In Duong Dong, the island’s bustling capital, Vietnam’s zest for life is palpable amid the colourful market life and traditional food stalls.

Day 7 Relaxation at sea
Day 8 Ho Chi Minh City/Vietnam, arrival 08.00 hrs

The economic heart of Vietnam beats in Ho Chi Minh City, a metropolis located in the south of the country at the mouth of the Saigon River. Formerly known as Saigon, it was renamed after the reunification of north and south Vietnam in 1976 in honour of the former president, Ho Chi Minh. The city’s skyline features buildings that can be seen from miles away, including the 461 m (1,512 ft) high skyscraper Landmark 81 and the Bitexco Financial Tower at a height of around 260 m (853 ft). As well as its economic importance, Ho Chi Minh City is also a culinary centre with a variety of Vietnamese and international restaurants. Chinatown, also known as Cho Lon, in the busy city centre is an inviting place to spend time browsing and admiring the curiosities on offer at the markets.

Day 9 Ho Chi Minh City/Vietnam, departure 17.00 hrs
Day 10 Relaxation at sea
Day 11 Da Nang/Vietnam, arrival 08.00 hrs

Da Nang, in central Vietnam, reveals its charm as a vibrant centre with an important history and modern lifestyle. The impressive cultural relics of the Cham dynasty, which once ruled over Southeast Asia, tell the tale of a long and rich past. The Cham Museum offers interesting insights into this period. The long stretch of beach at Da Nang is a great place to enjoy the sun and let your mind drift. Just a stone’s throw away are the picturesque trading port of Hoi An and the Imperial City of Hue, which draws visitors under its spell thanks to its magical location on the romantic Perfume River and its cultural heritage. Take your time to soak up the atmosphere, as the ship will stay overnight.

Day 12 Da Nang/Vietnam, departure 14.00 hrs
Day 13 Halong Bay/Vietnam, 12.00 – 18.00 hrs

Situated in the Gulf of Tonkin, Halong Bay is one of the most spectacular scenic locations in Vietnam. In 1994, it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it’s easy to see why: around 2,000 limestone cones with dense vegetation rise up out of the emerald-green water, creating a mystical atmosphere. According to legend, this scenery was formed by a dragon descending through the sea. Numerous grottoes and caves are hidden among the submerged limestone formations, just waiting to be discovered. Small junks cross the bay, bringing visitors closer to the mysterious little islands and romantic waterfalls.

Day 14 Relaxation at sea Passage through the Hainan Strait/China
Day 15 Hong Kong/China, arrival 13.00 hrs Overnight stay on board

Hong Kong, a former British colony, has grown into one of the world’s biggest and most dynamic metropolises. The city is a global financial centre and an important trading hub for the Asian market. With its impressive skyline, lively street markets, luxury shopping centres and exquisite restaurants, Hong Kong offers a rich variety of experiences. The city is a melting pot of cultures, where tradition and modernity meet. These days, Hong Kong plays a major role in international business – in particular, in the areas of finance, trade and technology. Enjoy the flair long after sunset, because your ship will stay overnight here.
