Day 2 Under Sail / Saint Kitts, Saint Kitts and Nevis

Begin the morning on deck, where sailors climb aloft to raise Sea Cloud II's sails by hand. Enjoy commentary from the Captain as you learn about how a real square rigger is handled by traditional sailors.

With a mountainous interior and rugged coastline of indented bays, St. Kitts is a striking island. A bit off the beaten path, the island has a very relaxed, local feel and is extremely accommodating to travelers. Spend the afternoon ashore exploring Brimstone Hill Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as Romney Manor Gardens and a Caribbean batik workshop.

Day 3 Under Sail / Terre-de-Haut, Îles des Saintes, Guadeloupe

Weather permitting, enjoy another morning under billowing sails. Grab a book, attend a presentation by your onboard experts or just relax as Sea Cloud II plies the Caribbean Sea.

Distinctly French in character and culture, the shops, homes and people of Les Saintes are colorful, tasteful, and delightful. Enjoy picture-postcard views from Fort Napoléon, with its cactus garden, iguanas and maritime museum. Then stroll through French colonial Terre-de-Haut and swim from a nearby sandy beach.

Day 4 Dominica

Spend the day exploring Dominica, known as "the nature island" for its spectacular beauty and many protected reserves. Hike through enchanting rainforest. Join your historian in exploring the ruins of Fort Shirley, an 18th-century British garrison, and learn about Dominica's turbulent colonial history. Go for a refreshing swim before an exclusive sunset cocktail reception at the Fort.

Day 5 Under Sail / Soufrière, Saint Lucia

Arrive at St. Lucia and anchor under the island's iconic twin peaks, the Pitons, which rise dramatically above the sea. After exploring the fishing port of Soufrière, drive into St. Lucia's volcanic caldera and discover the otherworldly landscape of mud pools and sulfur springs. Visit the tropical Mamiku botanical gardens—backed by the gorgeous Diamond Falls—and delve into the grounds' complex history, which dates back to the reign of Louis XIV. Spend the afternoon sailing south.

Day 6 Union Island, Saint Vincent and Grenadines

Just three miles long and one mile wide, Union Island is nicknamed "the Tahiti of the West Indies" thanks to its dramatic volcanic silhouette. Sea Cloud II

Vessel Type: Tall Ship (Sailing)

Length: 105 metres

Passenger Capacity: 96

Built: 2001

Launched in 2001, Sea Cloud II is a stunning vessel, built along traditional lines, but offering deluxe accommodation. She combines timeless elegance of sailing ships of the past with the highest safety standards and the luxurious comfort of modern cruise ships. Just like her legendary sister ship Sea Cloud, the 29,600 square feet of sails is set by hand which is a truly magical sight. Built to accommodate 96 passengers in five star luxury, she offers a range of beautifully appointed suites and cabins which are furnished with great style. All accommodations have outside views and the bathrooms, in light marble, are unusually spacious and extremely comfortable. The finest, carefully chosen fabrics, combined with leather, rattan and other materials, brass and gold, precious woods and marble together create an impressive ensemble.

No expense has been spared to create a sympathetic ambience in both the accommodations and public areas and this is reflected throughout the vessel. Public areas include an elegant lounge, library, fitness centre, boutique, lido bar and hospital. The single sitting dining room is airy and modern and the quality of the cuisine and service will be to the highest of standards, as one would expect on a Sea Cloud cruise. Relax on the Lido deck and experience the natural grandeur of travelling under sail, rekindling memories of a bygone age.

Deck plans are for illustrative purposes only – The actual ship and cabin layout may differ.
