In the afternoon, we set out for a guided visit to the renowned Barú National Wildlife Refuge, a protected area spanning 330 hectares of pristine tropical forest, mangroves, and coastline. This site is officially recognized by UNESCO as part of the Savegre Biosphere Reserve.
